What’s been happening:

Nothing prepared me more for life than those improv classes in the theater department with Derek Campbell as I left the succor of Happy Valley and made my way from Pennsylvania to Ireland via Toronto, New York, Chicago, and London with lots of travel to Figi, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Scotland, Croatia, Romania, Poland, Hungary, Pakistan, UAE, Hong Kong, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa & Andorra. I always felt equipped to land on my feet and make my way and that is in no small measure a gift I took with me from State College. I've been blessed with a long career in theater, another as a wife and mother & after my husband passed away improvised myself into a career as a sustainable construction methodology consultant (the BEST paid acting job I ever had!) and most recently improvised my way into the commodities business (actually THAT is the best acting job I've ever had). I have the pleasure of the company of my clever, funny & handsome 16 year old son, Aleks, and enjoy immensely living in Ireland. But I am looking forward with great anticipation to introducing my son to Penn State this June when we come for the ISB Convention. Hopefully I can entice my young globetrotter into applying when he graduates next year! We've been to many places but I have never seen a more beautiful campus than University Park and the international reputation is brilliant.
